Service Description
At Oz Building & Pest Inspections, our combined Building & Pest Inspection is designed to give buyers, sellers, and property investors a complete understanding of the property's condition—both above and below the surface. We conduct a detailed assessment of the property's structure, checking for major building defects, safety concerns, and maintenance issues, while also inspecting for termites, borers, fungal decay, and any signs of timber pest activity. This two-in-one service complies with Australian Standards AS 4349.1 (Building) and AS 4349.3 (Timber Pest). All accessible internal and external areas are checked, including: - Roof space & subfloor (if accessible) - Internal walls, floors, ceilings, windows, doors - External structures, fences, sheds, and decks - Moisture-prone areas using moisture meters - Signs of timber damage or pest entry points You’ll receive a clear, photographic report within 24-48 hours, including all findings and recommended next steps helping you move forward with confidence.
Cancellation Policy
Oz Building & Pest Inspections – Safety and Satisfaction Guaranteed We value your time and strive to provide prompt, professional service for all our clients. To ensure fairness and efficient scheduling, please review our booking and cancellation terms below: Booking Policy All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of necessary property access details and client contact information. We aim to deliver reports within 24–48 hours following the inspection, depending on the service type. For time-sensitive inspections (e.g., property settlements), please advise us at the time of booking so we can prioritise accordingly. Payment is required before or on the day of inspection, unless otherwise arranged in writing. Cancellation & Rescheduling A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations or reschedule requests. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 30% cancellation fee. No-shows or cancellations after the inspector has arrived at the property will result in the full inspection fee being charged. If we are unable to access the property at the time of inspection due to incorrect details or lack of coordination with the agent/owner, this will be treated as a late cancellation. Weather and Site Access In the event of unsafe weather conditions or access issues that prevent a full inspection, we may reschedule at no extra charge. You (the client) are responsible for ensuring safe and clear access to all areas to be inspected. Need to Change Your Booking?
